She was playing Daneya Charles of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in a Girls 14
Singles semi-final clash on Stadium Court. Stacey over powered Daneya in the
first set, but her opponent stuck to her game plan, forcing the more powerful
Stacey to commit numerous unforced errors.
Into the third set, the two went, but cramps soon became a factor, and Stacey
Roheman was forced to receive treatment on court.
Daneya Charles refused to be deterred, and kept up the pressure, and
advanced to the Girls 14 Singles Final with a 4-6, 6-2 6-0 victory over Roheman,
who now has to review her mental game if she is to enjoy more successes.
