SATURDAY AUGUST 16 2008, MICOUD, Saint Lucia – Guyana defeated Saint Lucia by three wickets in a tense low-scoring game at the Beauchamp Cricket Ground, as the 2008 West Indies Senior Women Cricket Tournament bowled off.

CASTRIES, SAINT LUCIA – In The decades of the 90s and 80s, Saint Lucia was a regional force in women cricket, but due to a number fo factors, that dominance have become cold as fires became extinguished.

BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS - The West Indies selectors have named two squads of players for upcoming engagements against the touring Australians, in the 2008 Digicel Home One-Day Internationals, and Twenty20 International, respectively.

CASTRIES, Saint Lucia – As the Digicel Home Series rages on between the West Indies and the touring Australians, many youngsters, urged on by their teachers, friends, and parents, hold their own version of the series. Last week, the R.C. Boys School in Castries, held a series of cricket matches in the yard.

WEDNESDAY 28 MAY – ST JOHN’S, ANTIGUA Ramnaresh Sarwan, who captained the West Indies in the First Digicel Test at Sabina Park, says he is looking forward to the team continuing to perform well, during the Digicel Test Series against world champions Australia who are leading the three match series 1-0.
