WCDF examines Antigua for dominoes

St. JOHN’S, ANTIGUA - A six-member delegation from the World Council of Domino Federations including President Dudley Harris and Secretary General Charles Lovell, recently visited Antigua May 16-18, to examine the host country’s preparations for the upcoming 11th World Council of Domino Federations Domino Championships slated for 4-14 October this year.

Darrel scores perfect 18

A perfect 18 points from Darrel Peter helped Police score 82 points to defeat Morne Du Don Legends 55 points, and Coolers Ladies 53 points, as the Scotts Sports and Awards Team 3- Hand Domino Competition played on Monday night.Tessa Marquis chipped in with 17 points for Morne Du Don, while Jean Peterson scored 11 points for Coolers.

Intense slamming action in  national dominoes
 
CASTRIES, Saint Lucia - So far in the 2008 Scotts Sports and Awards Shop-sponsored Team 3-Hand Domino Competition, have realized intense action. In the first game played on Monday May 19, Coolers Veterans scored 62 points to defeat Police 60 points, and Morne Du Don Strikers 58 points.

Forty players were entered into the draw, with a number of top current and former national players being unceremoniously shown the exit.
