What is noticeable about both of the finals is the almost lackadaisical approach
by the losing finalists. Klonaris failed to get her act together as Ramialison was
all prepped and raring to go. Though Ramialison made a few unforced errors,
Klonaris numerous unforced errors virtually handed the match to her opponent
who continued hitting winner after winner.
In the Boys 18 Singles final, Ducourau just seem not to have the ability to hit
the ball where he wanted as he did so unerringly in his previous matches.
He looked rattled from the first set, and never recovered enough to mount a
serious challenge to Ore, who along with Ramialison, walked away as the
inaugural Digicel ITF Junior Tennis Tournament Boys 18 Singles champions.
